I wondered what I could paint for Valentine's Day without appearing cheesy. Then comes the thought of a traditional love and true friendship. Roses and carnations on a dramatic dark background spread before me. A golden spray of light appears as the florist gently pounds the bouquet to rid of loose petals and shriveled leaves. That is the vision. 

That vibrant display of brilliant red roses and cloud white carnations bursting forth, capturing the energy of a newly made bouquet.
