In this mixed media painting, I used these analogy to describe what I went through. This experience was so close to my heart, iridescent copper and gold acrylics were used for her skin and letters to shine. Oils were used throughout the painting to add luscious scenery, depth, and highlights.
You can feel the outdoors with the bird, trees, river, and sky. It's as if your heart is free to fly with joy, but you are grounded to stay and be strong.
